Uploading Terms of Service

By uploading to Turtle Net, you confirm that your post complies with the guidelines below:

• Posts must relate to turtles or closely related animals (e.g., tortoises)
• No hate speech, bullying, harassment, or discrimination
• No sexual content or explicit material
• Do not post AI static images without "(AI)" in the title. AI animated photos and videos are not allowed at all.
• Do not share copyrighted content without permission from the owners
• Stay on topic and keep posts relevant to the community
• No spam, scams, or irrelevant advertising
• Do not share any personal information (yours or others’) without consent
• Be respectful and keep interactions friendly and constructive
• Avoid spreading false or misleading information
• Posts violating these rules will be declined or removed, and offenders may be banned or reported to proper authorities in situations requiring such action.

Ownership and Representations

• By uploading content, you represent and warrant that you either own the content or have all necessary rights, licenses, and permissions to upload it.
• You are solely responsible for any content you upload and for ensuring it does not infringe on the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of any third party.
• You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Turtle Net and its operator from any claims, damages, or legal fees arising from content you upload that violates these terms or any third-party rights.

License Grant

• By uploading content, you grant Turtle Net a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, transferable license to host, store, display, reproduce, and distribute your content for the purpose of operating and promoting the platform.
• This license remains in effect for as long as your content is hosted on Turtle Net, and ends when the content is removed, except where copies are reasonably retained for backup, legal, or moderation purposes.

Copyright and Takedown

• Turtle Net respects the intellectual property rights of others. If you believe content uploaded to the platform infringes your copyright, you may submit a takedown request through the contact information listed on the site.
• We reserve the right to remove any content alleged to be infringing without prior notice, and to terminate the accounts of repeat infringers.

Enforcement

• Turtle Net reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to remove any content, restrict accounts, or take any other action it deems necessary to enforce these guidelines, with or without prior notice.
• Violation of these guidelines may result in content removal, account suspension or termination, and where applicable, reporting to law enforcement or other appropriate authorities.
• These guidelines do not create any obligation for Turtle Net to monitor, review, or remove content, and Turtle Net assumes no liability for content that violates these terms but has not yet been actioned.
